Think Pink!
Did you know that Longaberger was the first Company to partner with the American Cancer Society in the fight against breast cancer? We are celebrating 15 years of raising funds for research and education in the fight against this disease. Each year we get excited about planning an event for our customers. This year it was PINK POKER and Share the Message, Save a Life. It was planned as a backyard affair, but we weren’t real sure if the weather would cooperate, so we prepared for indoors and out, in case a July shower showed itself. We played Pink Poker and shared the message of HOPE… Pink doorprizes, pink refreshements and pink decor’ made it a special day for all of us. The weather held off until just after the last person left and then we had a torrential downpour! Perfect timing in a pink world! ps..we enjoyed the day so much, that I forgot to take pictures during the event! Dang it!

Looks like it was a GREAT day and the weather was kind enough to hold in there until the event ended. Your display of HOH products is very attractive and so are those COOKIES! I have the pink pie plate and enjoyed using it recently. Had a gathering here a week ago and it was filled with sugar cookies. My LB tablecloth was the “Floral Blooms” so pink, cornflower, butternut colors went so well with it. Longaberger Products make my life so much easier when it comes to gatherings either here or to-go. The products coordinate so well.

Gone are the years that we would have made them ourselves. LOL. Chris suggested Roth’s for the cookies, so I took a couple of our Ribbon Cookie Cutters to them and they had them done in a day. They were really yummy too! Kind of weird though…the ones that were left (not too many I can assure you) turned back to a light pink/white. So it’s like the dye didn’t stay. No matter, they lasted long enough for us all to enjoy!
