End of Summer Garden at Deepwood

Love this time of year when Fall and Holiday Fairs get started for the season.  Puts me in the mood for crafting and on the hunt for junking treasures.  First up was the Deepwood Vintage Flea Market promoted by Sarah of Roost Reimagined at Deepwood Estate.    A beautiful location in historic Salem.  The show was outside, and while the morning was cool, lots of people came out for the day.  Here’s the first snapshots of the flower garden.

English Gardens

As we were leaving, Avery wanted to walk through the garden. Avery and mom, Andrea.

Get Your Game On!

By Cindy Goff

The weather cooperated for Tailgating Longaberger Style at Weaving Friendships last week.   It was HOT and one of those few 90+ days we get here in the Pacific Northwest.  As usual, I served up adult beverages – ice cold Coronas and homemade wine from Sue’s vineyard.  Made “pigs in a blanket” like we used to when we were kids, but I spiced them up with pepper jack cheese.  O yum!  Pasta Salad and lots of Homemade Salsa and chips.   Kari brought a super dessert too.   We had a great time!

Check out our FAN FAVORITES ON SALE!

30% SAVINGS is a TOUCHDOWN FOR SURE!

Marie's Van worked great for our tailgating display. She pulled it right up to my front walk so that it greeted everyone as they came up to the door.

Go Beavers! Go Ducks! And our Denver Bronco things are in the mix too!

I'm in LOVE with the insulated totes. This one filled with novelty POPS.

Always chips and Longaberger Salsa at a tailgating party. And beer bread too!

Guess who showed up at the door dressed as a CHEESEHEAD?! The winner of the BIGGEST FAN AWARD - Kaethe!

The infamous KEG!

Display included Fan Favorites! The 8 in 1 Entertainer arrived just in time to share!

Another beautiful night in the Pacific Northwest. Thanks for coming!

Hard to ignore the Cheesehead! We laughed and laughed!

Kaethe....no it's not a DUCK it's a CHEESEHEAD! Marie is more appropriately dressed as a BEAVER FAN! lol

Lincoln was my little fan...helping me clean up the next day. Wearing Grandpa Dave's Bronco hat and playing with the balloons and football.

Pumpkins.

By Cindy Goff

Not a pumpkin “foodie”but love everything else pumpkin.  I change out the Longaberger Flower Box seasonally and for right now it’s PUMPKINS!   Made of maple, just like all of our baskets with a wooden stem.  Sage, Spice or Maple Leaf Yellow in Small $20, Medium $25 or Large $30.  These Pumpkins are available all fall but you’ll want to get ‘em soon so that you can enjoy them too!  I also used the Fruiting Ivy (a big hit with my customers!) and our new Napkins for some more color.

One small and two mediums shown in the Flower Box. Fruiting Ivy is placed in first and then I added the pumpkins. Placed it on 2 Golden Fields Napkins that I layed out as a runner.

This one I used the Crimson Hill Napkins as the runner. Love both of these new fabrics so I may just be changing it back and forth. =)

One of my favorite things…

By Cindy Goff

I love this little Salt and Pepper Caddy.  At just $22 it’s a keeper.  Many of you know that I also have this “thing” for  paper napkins.  This Wrought Iron Caddy works perfectly to hold a pack or more of small ones.  Makes me happy!

Caddy with red checked napkins and the NEW Travel Cup.

Okay, even my dear husband is a junker!  He found this down the street at a neighborhood garage sale.  Carried it home so proud of his find.  =)  It was FREE and perfect timing for our Longaberger Tailgating Party on Thursday night at Weaving Friendships!    Wouldn’t it make a great little end table?  Or cut it in half for a fire pit. Any other ideas?   My mind is racing….

It's beer time!

That’s what I’m talking about.  I may have shared this before…I use old Longaberger Postcards for my labels on packages.  I just mailed out several Year End Awards and these are what I used.   Just tape ‘em on the box or large envelope and you’re good to go.

I covered up the "to address" but you can get the idea.
