No Empty Nester Here!
I almost hate to admit doing the happy dance since our youngest son Josh moved out! It didn’t take any time at all before I claimed his room and made it my own. Room enough for our American Spirit Branch Meetings and our customer monthly gathering called Weaving Friendships. I love working from home and having a home office is really soooo sweet. And btw…Josh is doing okay too! He’s probably out there right now do a happy dance of his own!

Dave bought me the Black Bench for my birthday. I added an All American Quilt from the Homestead on the Black Bench.

Great find on a farm table for the office for meetings and gatherings. Perfect in black to match the bench.

I re-purposed several things, like painting my desk black.

Another desk view...I love how Longaberger Wrought Iron pieces fit right in too.

This shelf was hanging in Josh's room for years. Painted it black and gave it a whole new look. My plan is to use it for display and rotate new products in and out.

Our branch maps our "journey" each month. The fabric in the window was found at Goodwill and matches the Paprika Plaid Fabric in the Valances and Quilt on the Black Bench. Black wire-coated shelves from Target. They are the best and at a great price too. I even put them in the closet behind my desk for paperwork in baskets.

Not a super good picture of my wonderful "retro" table my husband surprised me with for our 35th Anniversary. He painted the room and added the table while I was out of town at the Farm Chicks Show. I just love that guy! It's a great working space, closer to my desk area.

More Target black shelves. Still working on getting the product organized.
