It’s all in a Day’s Adventure – Part 2

By Cindy Goff

Marie and I figured we better get on our way and headed back up the road for some serious berry picking.  With the Medium Market in tow, off we went to the pasture…on an ATV!!!  That was fun!  We strapped the Market to the front and doubled up on the ride.  Did I mention that we are picking BLACKBERRIES?!!!  We’ll you know, they are the ones with all of those nasty thorns…OUCH!  After a few scrapes and EXCLAMATIONS now and then, we got the job done.  Perfect timing for my CAbi show too.  The Blackberries were a great addition to Saturday’s brunch.  Yum-o!  What a fun day!

I just look like I was driving. LOL are you kidding me?!

Marie was the captain for sure!

Here is the captain of this rodeo. Marie!

If you look closely, you can see Marie buried in Blackberries on the left.

Only the ripe ones...I kept hearing this from Marie. She's been picking awhile.

It's amazing these pretty little flowers produce such nasty thorns. It was worth it though.

I'm a picking fool.

Oh sister! Did I really think I was going to fill up this whole basket?!! Not even half full but plenty to share.

The perfect one! Of course that's Marie's hand.

Fruits of our labor in the NEW Buffet Bowl. It holds 4 qts so it looks like maybe we got about 3?

Made for a wonderful fruit salad. Pictured in the Buffet Bowl and Wrought Iron Bowl.

The table was so colorful with all of our Longaberger products.
