I Spy A Longaberger Basket…
I thought it would be fun to add this catagory to the blog so that we can all share basket sightings across the country. Send me a picture and I’ll post it as well as a message from you about where you spotted a Longaberger Basket. Let’s see how many we can get from coast to coast. I’m including the first one from our weekend at the Oktoberfest.
This past weekend was Oktoberfest in Mt Angel, Oregon. It’s a little bitty German town that grows to 300,000+ during the 4 day celebration. We went on Thursday for the opening ceremony and were delighted with school children and their families doing the May Pole Dance. From babies to girls in dirndl dresses and old men all decked out in traditional lederhosen, it was festive and fun! Good ‘ole bratwurst and singing our hearts out in the biergarten took us back to our days in Germany. What a fun day!

I spy a Longaberger Basket!

Teacher Teresa posed for me with her Medium Boardwalk Basket. Doesn't she look great?!

Glockenspiel in the Town Center- our meeting spot if we got lost.

The town comes together to embrace their Bavarian Heritage.

Picture Perfect. Even the baby was having fun!
