Longaberger Consultants speak Bee. Anything to do with a Bee draws our attention. Our Basket Convention is lovingly called THE BEE. From the first one in 1981, held at the Dresden HS Gym to the 2011 one coming up this July…we’re on the hunt for anything Bee! Stay tuned for more.

Farmhouse Show

If you missed it…sorry. The show was awesome and we did great! Andrea, Marie and I created, tagged and sold our wares for 3 days at the Turner Tabernacle Farmhouse Show created by Larena and Belinda from Aunt Bee’s. Here’s some pictures for you to see. Rumor has it that there will be a fall show so stayed tuned.

Our booth had a real mix of handmades and vintage.

The quilt on the back wall was not for sale but everyone wanted it. =)

I made flowers out of burlap and old buttons. The stakes are barbed wire. Or as I've always called it "bobbed wire".

November 29th – Christmas Home Business Showcase with several vendors/companies all under one roof. 6:30 – 9 at The Gathering Place, 7845 River Rd N, Keizer OR
December 3rd – Aunt Bee’s Holiday Open House, 2679 Commercial St SE, Salem OR 10 – 8:30. I’m doing a Longberger Tree for Charity! All trees donated by Aunt Bee vendors and decorated with a theme. Stop by and vote for your favorite between November 26th and Dec 3rd. All trees will be available to purchase and the money will be donated to the Marion County Food Bank.

Oh my gosh! I wish I could figure out a way to post to my blog from my phone. So much news coming out of OHIO and the BEE that I couldn’t wait to get home to share. Be sure to check back often as I update.

WOODBURN COMPANY STORES

Stopped by Woodburn Company Stores yesterday, and just had to take pictures of the beautiful FLOWER TREE and Planters. They always do it up so nicely all year long. Years ago, Longaberger had a meeting of sorts there and the gals from our Friendship Group, who came from all across the country, had a “Kodak Moment” in the this very place. I’ll have to see if Linda or one of the girls still has the pictures. The Company Stores has one of the ONLY CAbi Outlets in the country too. Great place to shop for past season’s looks at super discounts! I’m shopping for summer and the Longaberger Bee…our Company Convention in Columbus, Ohio. Bring it on summer!

We’re off to Spokane and the FARM CHICKS SHOW this weekend! It’s the bestest Antique/Collectible/Repurposed Show in the West. Looking forward to seeing our peeps from Salem there too…Longaberger toting women who love to shop! I’ll post pictures and the scoop on my return.
