Fill-It Hurricanes

Oh my goodness! We had such fun playing with the Fill-It Hurricanes at Weaving Friendships. The possibilities are endless! The cool thing is the bottom and top are separated by a round metal disc. You can either leave it in or take it out for the look you are going for. We were definitely going for a fall theme and can’t wait to see what we come up with for Christmas! Enjoy!

Mini beeswax pears fill the top of the Small Fill-It Hurricane

Medium Fill-It

Medium Fill-It with apple and pears in the top and fall leaves in the bottom.

: The next day I was at Bev’s for an Early Shopping Event and we left the metal disc out of the Hurricane and filled it completely up with fall seeds, gourds, pumpkins and apples.

Love this one...at the Early Shopping Event, I filled it with ice in the bottom and added mini cream puffs in the top.

Longaberger just makes for such a beautiful, warm feeling in your home.

Get Your Game On!

The weather cooperated for Tailgating Longaberger Style at Weaving Friendships last week. It was HOT and one of those few 90+ days we get here in the Pacific Northwest. As usual, I served up adult beverages – ice cold Coronas and homemade wine from Sue’s vineyard. Made “pigs in a blanket” like we used to when we were kids, but I spiced them up with pepper jack cheese. O yum! Pasta Salad and lots of Homemade Salsa and chips. Kari brought a super dessert too. We had a great time!

Marie's Van worked great for our tailgating display. She pulled it right up to my front walk so that it greeted everyone as they came up to the door.

Go Beavers! Go Ducks! And our Denver Bronco things are in the mix too!

I'm in LOVE with the insulated totes. This one filled with novelty POPS.

Always chips and Longaberger Salsa at a tailgating party. And beer bread too!

Guess who showed up at the door dressed as a CHEESEHEAD?! The winner of the BIGGEST FAN AWARD - Kaethe!

Date Change for Weaving Friendships

Help me get the word out. Our monthly customer/consultant gathering has been changed to the 2nd Thursday of each month. Next up is TAILGATING – Longaberger Style. Beginning at 6 PM…drop by for fun and intereaction with other Longaberger Fans. Appetizers/adult beverages and NEW Products are on hand. Sometimes we do a “make and take” or share a recipe. GIVE – AWAYS….Get the Scoop 5

GIVE – AWAYS! Everyone’s a winner at WEAVING FRIENDSHIPS!

I had a Corn Basket over flowing with "bag o stars" for everyone to take home. 7 were tagged with a RED Heart for doorprizes. First pick was determined by who arrived at the Scoop first. Bag 0 Stars were made by my friend Emily who is the proprietor of American Country Mercantile. She made most of them in RED, WHITE AND BLUE so it was a perfect match for our American Spirit and Friends group.

And they were super excited about the GIVE - AWAYS! All Longaberger.

Sue A. won the Cell Phone Case that matches the Maddy Bag she earned in a branch incentive. She was happy!

This year's customer drawing was the Daffodil Basket. All customers get an entry into the drawing for each time they purchase. Next up is the Gourmet Basket with swing handles. Drawing to be held at Year End/Bring Back the Bee in summer 2012.

Displays…everyone loved the new products. And more to come in September!

Here's part of the NEW PRODUCT Display. I placed a old barnwood bench in the middle of a 6 ft table and put product on both sides. Notice the CraZy Tacks in the Spring Basket...more on that later.

Not sure why I didn't get many pictures of the NEW PRODUCT Display but everyone was super excited about ALL of it....

Judy, our expert coffee drinker LOVED the new Pure Arabica Coffee from Longaberger! Doesn't she just have the greatest smile? I wish you could see her BLUE eyes too!

I Scream, you scream...as the night carried on it was time for ice cream. Toppings galore and my favorite Oregon Marionberry Sauce from Sue.

Now just what are my choices? Judy, Brenda and Ferol at the Ice Cream Bar.

Our beautiful daughter-inlaw Liz with baby #2 on the way in a few weeks.

Oh so pregnant...now give me some ice cream! I don't think she going to make it till our next gathering....

Get the Scoop with Longaberger!

Get the Scoop will be shared in a few posts. Let’s get it started….Great fun at Weaving Friendships on Tuesday night. We came together as consultants, customers and friends who partied and celebrated our connection with Longaberger. Congratulations to my team as we continue to share Longaberger in the Pacific Northwest. New Products and LOTS of GIVEAWAYS and Ice Cream to boot! Thanks for celebrating with me. PS…I promised not to post pictures if you looked too corny! And I did do a lot of cropping! lol

Just a little table deco. I covered oranges (since I didn't have any styro balls) with cotton batting and stuck them into the retired Pottery Ice Cream Cones from Longaberger. It would be way cool to really use styro balls so that you could stick straight pins with colored heads on the ends for a "sprinkles" effect.

The drinks always get put on the potting bench aka "bar". A find from my friend Cindy, who gave it to me. It works perfect with it's tin top.

We celebrated Year End Awards and cheered for everyone who wasn't there.

Weaving Friendships Backyard BBQ

Have I mentioned that I love summer?! Now that it’s finally here, our monthly customer gatherings have been enjoyed out on the deck. Also love a theme and July it was Backyard BBQ -Longaberger Style! I used lots of bandanas and vintage wool car blankets, buckets with peanuts and WANTED posters throughout. Even used Marie’s cowgirl boots!

BBQ Dave made the bratwurst. oh yum! I teased him and said if he didn't wear a Longaberger Tshirt, he had to wear an apron. David Dear is just the best!

It’s Bee Time in OHIO!

Longaberger Consultants are arriving in OHIO for the annual convention, affectionately called the BEE. We love bees….I’ve snapped most of these at local places and will share where if I can remember. =)
