12 Minute Cake

By Cindy Goff

This recipe was made and ready to eat in 20 minutes tops.  While I was visiting with customers, Chris was in the kitchen making this cake…she was gone and back in a flash, cake in hand for all to enjoy.  We even tempted those who have sworn off desserts.  The recipe was posted on our consultant website awhile back and I don’t know who to credit for it but a BIG THANK YOU from all of us at Weaving Friendships on Tuesday night.

Woven Traditions Fluted Cake Pan - Microwave*Oven*Dishwasher*Freezer Safe

Ingredients:

  • 1 package Yellow Cake Mix
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 (21 oz) can of Apple Pie Filling
  • 1/2 cup Applesauce

Directions:

  1. Mix the box of cake, eggs, apple pie filling and applesauce until moist.  Pour mixture into the microwave safe Longaberger Cake Pan.
  2. Bake on high in the microwave for 12 minutes.  Remove and cover pan with a dish and let stand for 5 minutes, this finishes the cooking process.
  3. Turn cake over onto dish and remove for a delicious dessert.  Great with vanilla ice cream or whipped topping.

Also try:  Chocolate Cake with Cherry Pie Filling or Spice Cake with Pumpkin Pie Filling

Everything tastes better made in Longaberger Pottery.  Don’t you agree?!

Send me a favorite recipe and I’ll post it to share.

OMG! This is the greatest ever! Ella (age 6) and I made this cake this morning with just what I had in the pantry. French Vanilla cake, a single serve rasp apple sauce and a can of raspberry cake filling and the eggs. It is awesome!
